On being small
Miraculous things happen in tiny containers, whether we acknowledge them or not. When we relentlessly focus on a pursuit of happiness, we disconnect from curiosity, courage and true love. Becoming small takes patience. Being small brings purpose. Acting in the roles that brings us joy is the key to our communal survival.
My solo debut art show, On Being Small, ran at Slice of Life Gallery, located on the unceded traditional territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
This is a small sampling of the larger body of work (pun intended).
